A Fresh-Water Well Brings Living Water

Before the Thaticherla well was drilled in February 2009, this village of 6,000 people had to walk half a mile to draw filthy water from a canal and spend four hours a day purifying it.

When Oasis World Ministries heard of their need, they offered to drill a fresh-water well.

The local pastor and his congregation were elated, because a generous member of the community had donated enough land to build both a well and a church. The gift of the fresh-water well has opened the hearts of the people to this now growing Christian church.
