National Evangelists

To date, Oasis National Evangelists have reached 162,463 decisions for Christ. That's an average of 5,000-10,000 decisions for Christ each year--around $1 a decision!

March 2009 I spent the last couple days of the February 2009 trip with the Oasis National Evangelists. It was a great time of encouragement and equipping. We've added several new faces to the team for a total of 19. As part of their training, I taught them the "One-Minute Witness" tool. Then each evangelist left the building to share their one-minute story. Exuberant, all of the evangelists returned with great joy, including K. Elisha who realized, "To think I've wasted all these years not sharing my faith." Now he's set on reaching 5,000 decisions for Christ over the next year. Photo gallery»
December 2008 Oasis National Evangelist Abel reported: "One of the village head masters graciously opened his warm arms to us and allowed us to meet at a school compound. It was the first Christian meeting ever conducted in this village. People from the village came with eagerness and were very receptive. Even though there was some opposition from radical Hindus, the Lord made it possible. Many people received healing at our meeting. One man was paralyzed for the past six months. After prayer, he got up and walked!"
November 2008 Rev. Babu Rao, and Pastor Solomon Raj will partake in a two-month internship and trial period before they become Oasis national evangelists. In addition, our current nine Oasis national evangelists will meet in cell groups of three to four every six weeks, and then all national evangelists will come together for training and encouragement four times a year.
February 2008 Oasis added more national evangelists (pictured above with Tom). Rev. Simon Peter and Rev. Jeremiah will be leading two months of training with the eight new evangelists. Two of the evangelists are from Nagaland in the Northern portion of India. Once trained, each National Evangelist will lead three-day festivals in some of the most remote areas of India—places where most people have never heard about Jesus.
