National Evangelists
Each National Evangelist conducts weekly three-day festivals throughout India's most unreached villages to share the Gospel to people who have not heard. Evangelists introduce 5,000-10,000 people to Jesus as Savior each year.

Sayam Babu
Syam was the fifth child of seven and his father was a teacher. One day his father began to have a spiritual hunger and when he was admitted in hospital, a student came to his bedside and spoke of Jesus. The student fasted for two days and after prayer Syam's father was healed. Through this miracle, his father grew more in Christ and raised his family in the Christian faith.
After his schooling, Syam moved to the coastal district of Krishna to teach school. The area was ravaged by a cyclone where 40,000 people were killed, including all of his friends. Syam stood in the flood waters for three days and was reminded of Bible stories he had learned in Sunday school about a God who helps us in our time of need. Syam had confidence that God would help him.
Later a pastor invited him to come with G. Peter for training at the Tabernacle School of Evangelism in Bellari. Afterwards Syam began to plant churches as a pastor until God placed a burden on his heart to reach the unreached areas with the gospel.
For ten years, Syam had prayed for the opportunity to become an evangelist. Now as an Oasis World Ministries national evangelists, God is using him mightily at his three-day mini-festivals that he conducts each week at remote villages of India. Many people have been set free from demonic possession and healed from various afflictions. Through Oasis mini-festivals three new churches have been established in villages where there had been no church.
Will you help Oasis national evangelists reach the unreached people of remote villages?
