National Evangelists

Each National Evangelist conducts weekly three-day festivals throughout India's most unreached villages to share the Gospel to people who have not heard. Evangelists introduce 5,000-10,000 people to Jesus as Savior each year.

Solomon Raju

Solomon Raju grew up hearing the Gospel from his father who was a pastor. Yet Solomon was a nominal believer and lived a secular life. One day a lecturer shared God's word and encouraged Solomon to pray. That's when Solomon began to hear God's voice and turn his life around. Jesus freed him from sin and gave him a fresh, new life.

Soon after, Solomon received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. He went to Bible College and was mentored under a pastor for three years. Then Solomon felt God's call to evangelism where he went to northern India to preach the Gospel for three years.

During this time in northern India, Solomon baptized 780 people, established 20 churches and equipped 20 pastors to lead the churches until a political leader forced him to leave.

Solomon fled to Andhra Pradesh where he prayed for three months for God's direction. That's when he learned about becoming a national evangelist with Oasis World Ministries. Today Solomon is serving successfully and averaging 400 decisions for Christ at each three-day mini-festival he conducts each week in remote villages of India.

Will you help Oasis national evangelists reach the unreached people of remote villages?
