National Evangelists
Each National Evangelist conducts weekly three-day festivals throughout India's most unreached villages to share the Gospel to people who have not heard. Evangelists reach an average of 5,000-10,000 decisions for Christ each year. That's just $1 a decision!
National Evangelist: Ruokuo Angami
Ruokuo was born and brought up in an upstanding, God-fearing, and prayerful Christian family near Kohima, Nagaland. His humble and God-revering parents taught him to fear God and keep His Commandments to help him grow and mature in his Christian faith.
Ever since Ruokuo was a small child, he believed that God had called him to serve as an evangelist and be equipped with God's power to heal all kinds of sickness.
As Ruokuo grew up, he had a passion for preaching God's word, so he preached and taught God's word to people of diverse groups through secondary school. The local pastor encouraged him to go to the Buntain Theological College to complete his Bachelor's degree. God opened doors for him to work at Aizawl A.G. Bible College Mizoram State for one year as Bible School teacher. In 2002, he still felt that he should continue his study. He enrolled at Southern Asia Bible College to complete his Master's degree in Theology.
The Lord had opened many doors for Ruokuo to serve, including several years working in Nagaland as a lecturer for three Bible Colleges: A.G.Bible College Kohima, Logos Bible College, and Miracle Theological College.
After that, Ruokuo pastored at a local church for three years. During that time, many people came to know Jesus Christ. Although deep in his heart, his childhood calling resurfaced and that's when he became a national evangelist for Oasis World Ministries.
Through Oasis, Ruokuo shares his faith wherever he goes to bring glory to God. Ruokuo is grateful to those who have supported Oasis World Ministries through their giving, prayers, and encouragement.
