National Evangelists
Each National Evangelist conducts weekly three-day festivals throughout India's most unreached villages to share the Gospel to people who have not heard. Evangelists introduce 5,000-10,000 people to Jesus as Savior each year.

Aseer Kalakurcha
Asser's story
While Aseer's father lead a church as a Christian pastor, Aseer grew up with his Hindu grand parents. His father asked him to read the Bible and come to church with him, but he refused. To Aseer, Christianity was only for the low caste, and he didn't want any part of it.
Since Aseer was a child, he suffered with stomach pain. When he turned 16, the pain worsened, leaving him unable to sleep or work. In fact, Aseer thought that he was going to die. His father took him to the hospital, but the medicine did not help. His father said, "If you believe that Christ can heal you, your mother and I will pray for you." Aseer agreed.
When his parents prayed, Asser's stomach pain disappeared and has never returned. That's when he began worshipping Jesus, yet he was still reluctant to attend church or give up worshipping the Hindu gods.
Then in 2000, Aseer went to a Christian youth rally and learned more about Jesus. He was accepted at the Bible College and later water baptized. At last he had peace in his heart.
While at college, Aseer injured his leg, and it became badly infected. He prayed fervently, and the Lord healed him completely. This tremendous miracle led Aseer to make a commitment to follow Christ alone.
While at college, Aseer asked God to help him understand Acts 8. God spoke to him in a vision and his heart began to burn with passion to preach the gospel. He served many years as an evangelist with Gospel for Asia. During this time he has witnessed many miraculous healings, ranging from severe spinal problems to eye problems.
In 2007, Aseer married a devoted Christian woman who had been strongly persecuted by her family. Both Aseer and his wife are passionate about doing God's work together among the people.
Aseer has earned a Certificate of Theology, then served in ministry for five years before earning his Bachelors of Theology degree. His greatest passion is to reach the unreached areas of Tengana with the gospel, share his faith with at least two people a day, spend an hour a day in prayer, and two hours each day in Bible study.
Aseer first learned about Oasis World Ministries when National Evangelist Abel came to his village in 2008 and helped him. Aseer was impressed with the format of the three-day mini-festivals held in small remote villages. Now he serves Oasis as a national evangelist.
Will you help Oasis national evangelists reach the unreached people of remote villages?
